Here are some quality homes.....
This next picture is a before shot to give you an idea of what a little remodeling can do to an existing home. Notice the basic contemporary style that they wanted to change, along with changing window's and cedar siding. We blew out the right side of the house for an addition as a Master bedroom................added a new shape to the roof over the garage as well. In this photo you see the new ridge board set in place, and ready to begin the garage false roof

This next photo, you start to see it come to shape..................with the new roof over the garage, and windows replaced with modern thermo units. We haven't started the addition on the right end yet.

Here are a few of the dynamic changes. New front entry and stucco covering the old cedar siding. Note between the two trees above the garage.........a small radius window we put together just for this job. A nice touch.
In this photo is a clubhouse rebuilt after a fire.
^^
In this next photo below, are the framing standards I use..........notice the diagonal inlet bracing in the corners for strength

I'm also sort of old fashioned in my ways. I still believe in wood crossbridging, and 1x4 on the ceilings for better stability in drywall joints

Here's a true southern home

Notice the custom sophit blocks that were made special for this house to give it more detail.

Here's a house that had no blue prints. The client showed me a small picture of a home found in his native home land (Holland) The only difference of course.........is the thatched roof we did away with here.

Here's a front view before the brick was applied.

In this picture is the Garage also waiting for the brick. Notice the custom doors

This is the proper way to flash a chimney with lead flashing.

In this picture, the client had a round door, so?................

Of course.............what's a round door without a round jamb?...........

This is the final product................

Want to add a second level? For a mother in law apartment maybe?.........look at this! You can still see the basic outline of a traditional cape cod

after........

I do most of my own work. I'm one of few who enjoys what I do and take great pride in the finished product. I'm on stilts here..............kind of tricky
