Now I know what your thinking......sure, sand is easy and should be no problem, but what about gravel? Well........ it does just fine on that as well but again..... small passes are key. It doesn't get much better than this

Just a little raking to final grade, and ready for the water line to go in. The line has to go under the slab to where it will end up in the new house.

Its so nice to be loved ;-)

In between rain storms, I managed to get it all formed in and water line to the house put in. The line is insulated with 1" high density foam rubber, then put in 3" PVC with sealed joints. Being on ledge, this should be more than adequate for not freezing up. Once it goes outside, I'll make up a 2" styrafoam box enclosure, then cover with another 2" by 4' wide section centered over the pipe and should,nt be a problem, as the camp has been just fine now for two of the worst winters in a while.

All graded of for a 6" slab. All that's left now is some bracing, run wire and screeds

Today, I rolled those mud coverd logs up the ramp, cleaned them up and ready to saw

Finally gopt a sunny day! Geeesh, thought it would never get here. 3 solid weeks of rain! Got some nice 1 x 12" and ready to saw the next one up

I thought this day would never get here, but its happening :)

15 yards and done by 9:30 with the help of my buddy and his friends. Now I'll pass the machine over, and smooth it all out

Man..... am I glad the block is over with, now I can lay the sill and start laying logs.

Won't be long now......yahoooo
