Septic in, and waiting on the power poles. Man, the expense for this ledge is killing me! Everything is way over budget because of the extra expense. This is surely going to delay things. You wouldn't believe the yards of fill that were brought in!

It may look small, but the camp is really laid out well. The plan is to live in the camp while the home is being built. It will be a gambrel (second level), and the bedroom will be upstairs. The 1st level will be open living with a small kitchenette, 1/2 bath/shower and washer, sofa, breakfast table, computer table (of course), and wood stove.

all framed in and ready for plywood on the second floor.

View from the second floor, down the drive before the "U". The blue spec is the wife, insulating the water line.

burn my butt!!!!!!!!! I wanted to finish the roof frame today, and ran out of nails! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

The windows are framed, but I opted to cut them out later to avoid temptation to those with other interests. Tomorrow, I ought to have the roof framed and outside gables and Monday should see the T-111 on the gables, and maybe even get some metal on the roof

;-) I decided on metal because its prefinished Forest green, and it will be faster than plywood and shingles. Hopefully, I can get on to the plumbing before the week is out.

oh-oh....... bear tracks!

going is slow being alone, but today I staretd the roof. I wasn't about to take up another sheet of T-111 up the ladder again in this wind alone.

All the windows in, and I finally got to light my first fire in the wood stove. Man it felt great. It will take a week with the heat on to dry the place out after all the rain we've had lately.

taking a break. Man, I'm busting butt trying to wrap this up before snow flies.
