Figured I'd start chinking while we have a few dry day's, and don't you know it started pouring last night. grrrrrrrrrr The caulk needs 48hrs to set up before it turns color and blends in with the logs.

nice everything has been caulked, I'll spray a final coat of sealer on the house before winter sets in.

It's raining right now, so I guess I'll work inside and figure out the hook up for the whirlpool

The weather finally co-operated and allowed the backside of the roof completion. Jeeez..........never thought I'd reach this point

The ceiling is easy until you get to the log collar ties, and lights. Lot's of fitting to do

Just couldn't stand it anymore..... I just had to start the living room walls to see if it would look like what my mind pictured

Talk about tricky........that dormer valley joint, is quite an exercise in patience I'll tell you, but when everything is done it sure will look nice

Sometimes you just can't avoid a handsaw

Fitting around log collar ties, requires more than just a sabre saw, but a belt sander as well for the back cutting

a close up of the corner

get'n her done ;-)

Found a perfect spot for that single Moose antler my buddy Tom gave me ;-)

This is what I love about my Festool drill. There is an angle attachment that allows to get in tight spots like this one, where my Rockwell screw gun can't

The chimney sits between all the rooms, and is why all the partitions are at an angle so there would be a better traffic flow with the woodstove in front of the chimney.

Man........this was a surprise. One never thinks of these things but putting the bedroom partition at an angle, it created a whole bunch of compound angles.

Man, talk about pains takenly slow work! Every corner has a compound miter. Work this tricky has to be measured precicely, fitted in place, make adjustments, re-cut and retry. I think each piece has been set up,and taken down at least 4-5 times before the fit is on the money and finally nailed in place.
