Gotsome mild weather and a dusting of snow so I thought I'd try and move these bad boys out to where I'll set up my saw mill. Kinda hairy because they are being slid over my water line, and I don't want to drag away any more dirt than needed. Also, the log is getting coated with sand and will be a bugger on the saw. I thought it would be a chore getting the logs out, but a chain hooked to the truck pulled it out pretty easy

Denise went for a walk around midnight with the dog last night. In the driveway, a huge buck and doe went prancing on up.

To the right, Denise spooked a small bunch that tore through the branches, but what was more amazing is the small herd that was along the opposite side.

Looked like 1/2 dozen on the side, 2 or 3 deer in the center of the drive, and another 3 or 4 to right that caused the commotion. Here are some pic's. What's really unusual is that this time of year, deer are yarded (herded) in the cedar bogs. We have a cedar bog on the backside of the property and these deer decided to go for a stroll, and looks like our place is the highway

Finally got to see the herd. They came through at mid day, then again around dusk and looks like I was right...... 1/2 dozen

I finaly got my mill set up and sawed up one log in to an 8x8. Now I'll slice it into some 2x8's and get another
