This is what the inside looks like all partitioned off for pens. Again, all done in poplar

The next thing on the list is some window trim I'll mill to hold the old window sashes in.
I still need to mill up some boards to finish the gables, but the chicks we ordered came in early. Sure glad I had the metal on the roof and decking on in the loft over head. At least I can cover the loft deck with a tarp if need be and keep it dry. We got 6 barred Rocks, and 6 R.I. Reds with 2 roosters. Gotta have those roosters!
I forgot how slow things move along up here with so much to do. Got to get this winters firewood put up, so it can dry out in time.

Back to cutting up some more poplar logs. So far, the poplar came out OK on the 1" stock, but had several pieces of 2" that bowed like crazy. Don't know if it was because of the stress in the log, or because it was on the bottom cut but I was still able to use it somewhere.

The chicks are getting bigger by the day. The wife is having a ball!
